Gloria Corbett Mullins
November 02, 1937 - October 31, 2024
Gloria Corbett Mullins died peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA, on October 31, 2024. Born on November 2, 1937, in Savannah, GA, Gloria had a long and fulfilling career in the insurance industry and later dedicated herself to providing care for elderly friends. She was a devoted member of the Seed Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jeff Harris Corbett, Sr. and Margie Thomas Corbett; her grandsons, Zachary Burns and Jason Crawford; and her siblings, June Jolissaint and Jeff Corbett, Jr. (Sonny); daughter in law, Donna DeNitto Burns.
Gloria is survived by her sons, Mike Crawford (Lisa) of St. Marys, GA, and Mark Burns (Jan Cossar) of Savannah, GA, as well as her daughter, Terri Nelson (Denny) of Pembroke, GA, and her brother, Joel Corbett (Norma). Her grandchildren include Christopher Craft (Ashley), Jeremy Tillman (Stephania), Maggie Burns, Emily Burns, and Eric Nelson (Emmy Robertson). She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Liam Greenman, Quinn Craft, Alex Arroyo, Andreas Arroyo, Ace Tillman, Axel Tillman, and Daisy Tillman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as special family members, including Nate Thomsen and family, Jessica and Nicholas Greenman.
A devoted believer, Gloria lovingly prayed for hours for her family and friends, instilling in them her deep belief in the power of prayer. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests considering a donation to the Zachary Paul Burns Scholarship at Benedictine Military School.
A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at The Seed Church. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. There will be a burial following the funeral service at the Gravel Hill cemetery.
We loved you Gloria, who in the eighty years of knowing her never had a harsh word to me, her brother. Norma and I will miss you dearly.
